In clicking on the link on the home page for the Cafe to Rhonda VIncent's new CD, I could find no information at all there on her band The Rage. Almost every site has info on all members of a band or group.

Unless I somehow missed it (and I searched through most every link), this struck me as odd.

Anyone else confirm my perception? She has a great band!

As often as she lets them go, it would be hard to keep the website current!

    Jonathan -

Thanks for the link. I had not gone into threads in her forum area, so you are the man!

I am sure they'll get a great guitarist soon, but she does go through personnel pretty often, doesn't she? Is that pretty normal for BG bands in general? I know Bill himself has a list of several hundred "former" BG boys.

They've always listed the band members and have up until recently, had the same members since Josh replaced Audie on guitar in either late 2003 or early 2004.

I think that happens a lot in all styles of music, especially bluegrass it seems. I'm sure travelling together and managing egos takes a toll after a while.

I just saw them this weekend and Darrell Webb was playing in the band. He's a great picker and a nice guy. I think he was with Wildfire before the break up.

Darrell can play em all better than most can play just one and sings a mean high harmony.

Darrell Webb is officially a member of The Rage:
    Courtesy of TBB

Rhonda Vincent has announced that the newest member of her band will be Darrell Webb, performing on guitar and vocals. Darrell had previously been a member of Wildfire, J.D. Crowe & The New South and Lonesome River Band, playing mandolin.

Rhonda is taking most of the remainder of 2007 off the road, but Darrell will be in tow when they kick off the new year early in ‘08.

On her official bulletin board, Rhonda had this to say about her newest Rager:

“Though Darrell is accomplished on every bluegrass instrument, his new position as the official guitarist for Rhonda Vincent & The Rage marks the first in his career on guitar.

Darrell brings his incredible vocal style and veteran musicianship to The Rage.

The group has already established an original sound with Darrell, as they have recently added a new original song, featuring Darrell on a stand out bass vocal. A very unique trait for a trademark tenor singer; and a true testament to the astounding vocal range of Darrell Webb.”
