Just moved to Charleston, SC and I'm wondering if anyone knows about any mando shops or anything in the area.

I'm having a hard enough time locating a place to buy strings.

David Shephard is a luthier who recently relocated to Charleston from Greensboro NC to open a Vintage Instrument Shop. I would assume he is up and running by now. Good luck...Gary S

Although Charleston is a pretty good town for BG, the shops here don't offer much for instruments or supplies. Most of what I buy is mailorder.
There is a BG jam every Thur. night at the Folly Beach Holiday Inn starting around 7:30. Come on by.
