    I would love to hear from you that have/had this mandolin tone descriptions regarding this particular Collings. Thanks!

    It's amazing how similar the tone from those two clips is. My MF sounds very similar. I have made a deal to sell it but I am starting to wonder if that is a smart move

    Hey, Crowder, I know how you feel. Just went through the same thing with my MF (which I think you know) and I'm happy keeping it for now....

    I've got to get on of these. I've played a lot of them, and they all sound great. Very hard to put down.
    A couple of mandolins
    A couple guitars
    An Upright Bass
    Some banjos

    I played a blonde MF last week and was just blown away by how easy it played and how beauuuutiful it was. As an intermediate player, I haven't played many higher end mandos (would this be considered a high end mando?), but after playing it I made a decision to acquire an MT or MT2.

    It was like butta...it has been on my mind like a good one night stand...
