    Hi all,
Does anyone happen to have a guitar part to Calace's Serenata Malinconica? I have the mandolin/piano version from the Nakano site but not the guitar part.
Also, while I'm begging.... does anyone happen to have mandolin/guitar (both parts) to Handel's Air - Lascia che io pianga? I would be eternally grateful.
    Thank you.

    Hi Linda,

I have Lascia che io pianga -- I played it with Carlo Aonzo this month for his New England tour. Send me a p.m. if you want it and I'll scan it and send it to you.

    Hi Linda,
the Suiseisha Japanese publications have many works original for mandolin and piano arranged for mandolin and guitar.
I don't know if "serenata malinconica" is present but I can retrieve this info in some days and then keep you informed.

Thank you Stefano! #I haven't heard of Suiseisha publications. #I'll have to look into those. #I appreciate your help!
I would also like to join the other mandolinists who have expressed appreciation for your participation on this board. #Your initiation of the topic of mandolin study at the Conservatory level has lead to a very interesting expansion of the topic as people have added information for different countries. #It's fascinating, and I think encouraging, although clearly we have a long way to go in achieving proper recognition of the mandolin.
    Regards,
    Linda

    Hi Linda,
I have found the mandolin and guitar part of Calace's Serenata Malinconica from Suiseisha Edition.
Thanks to my friend Sergio Z.

Just e-mail me your contact info, I can send you the part as pdf file.

    Ciao Stefano,
Thank you! #I haven't had any luck finding it. #I look forward to playing it with a guitarist soon. #Can you tell me more about Suiseisha Edition? #I couldn't find an online catalogue. #Do they publish a lot of mandolin music? #Do they have a website?
Thank you again! #I look forward to receiving the part.
    Regards,
    Linda

    Ciao Linda,

    unfortunately Suiseisha Edition has closed.
In Italy friends have copies and, for what I know, also Padova Conservatory has one copy of all the opera.

I know from this forum (see here and here) that Trekel has 3 volumes extracted from the 9 original ones.

If the thread isn't too old... I too would love a copy of the guitar part, assuming it's printed, not manuscript. Thank you!
