Compound radius again

Hello ,
After trying some instruments with compound radius last summer , I want now made only compound radii on the instruments I make .
I've imagined this gig , and try it with a piece of nonvalue wood .

The gig is 40cm long , which represent the scale of a mando 35cm + 5cm for the sanding work . On the left of the picture above there's a piece of plexiglass with a radius a little less than the radius needed at the nut . Say if you want 7,5" at the nut , the plexi must be 7" radius .
On the right of the picture above , the other piece of plexi is flat and is supposed seem to be where the bridge is .
The sanding block is just 1,5cm tick and have not sandpaper all along . two wood screws have to limit the movement during the process .
All I can say today after my first test : It works .

Very nice! That's very similar to what I use on my belt sander, but I wouldn't have thought of using it for hand-sanding as well.

nice, Jean. Very simple and it avoids some potential pitfalls of doing it on a powered sander as long as your sanding board has little to no flex.

Ho thanks you for your nice replies , i'm very pleased .
I've improved the system by using a straight aluminium ruller , with a piece of 80 sandpaper glued on . the black collar on the left is here for stop the movement and preserve the plexi .
