Any help appreciated - looking for tab (especially)/music or even chords and key for Reischmans 'North Shore'. I simply can not get this tune out of my head and don't play well enough to start to figure it out.

    Thanks

I've been trying to work on this one too. It's in Gm and is covered in tab and standard notation in the Summer 2004 issue of Mandolin Magazine (the one with Tim O'Brien on the cover).

There is some tricky fingering and it's not easy to play smoothly in some spots but it's worth the effort - a very cool tune.

i am really getting sick of reischman, every tune he writes is amazing and every break he takes is perfect, he needs to screw up more often

Yeah, it looks kind of like an ABC, but I can't get my system to do anything with it.

You have to download TefView (free tabledit player) first.
    It works here...

I am starting to feel like I should just drop this whole thing, but part of me thinks there is an easy answer. I Have downlaoded Tabledit and Tefview - several times. I have these files, all on my hardrive, desk top, etc. Still, nothing opnes the files ?? What are the steps ? Do I drag and drop onto the folder (into my Doc) Somthing in my memory banks tells me for Mac I need to hold down a key 'shift' or similar. There must be an answer. I have thrown away all old copies of Tef and started new (more than oince) and have paid for full version of Tabledit .. I am usually quite savy with my Mac, but this has me stumped.

On mine, this is just like the other link. It doesn't open in Tefview, & I tried to see if their was some setting I could fix it with, & found nothing did it. It doesn't really matter to me, every other .tef file works, so this one's no biggie.

I really like Indiana Firefly. Basic break is in tabedit. His second break which I worked out from his CD and slowed it down, is one of my favorites.
