I just wanted to tell everyone that even thought Andy had just lost the tips of three of his fingers the previous day he found the time to email me to make sure my mandolin had been repaired properly and to see how it was coming along. This guy is a class act without any doubt at all. He didn't even mention how much he must've been hurting. Kudos to Will Kimble for what he's doing. He automatically rates in my book.

Maybe one of the moderators could fix my type-o in the subject line.

    Thanks!

Oh yes,,, class act all the way.
I think Andy is the real deal. He has the passion and he will bounce back in no time.
What a very nice gesture by Will Kimble though!

Andy lost the last joint of three fingers on his left hand in an accident this past weekend. Will Kimble offered to donate the proceeds of a Mix carbon fiber A-model listed in the classifieds to Andy while he's on the mend. It's a very kind offer.

I am humbled by Will's generosity, and feel honored to know him.
What a great gesture to come to the aid of a fellow luthier.
And although I've never met Andy, I wish him the best. I suspect
where there is a will(no pun intended) there is a way & he will
adapt to continue his passion for luthiery. This really is a great
    community of mandolin folks.
