Newbie new to the messageboard

I just wanted to introduce myself. I just signed up for the messageboard. My name is Steve and I live in East Tennessee. I am also a electric bass player. I took mandolin lessons back in the early 80's from a great teacher and just took lessons for a few months I learned quiet a bit. I have all the lessons on cassette and one day soon I am going to get them to my PC an eventually on CD. Anyways I am going to start back learning just as soon as I buy a new mandolin. My main reason is I want to transpose some of the stuff he taught me on mandolin to play on my 6 string bass. I still have a lot of those songs in my head. I am currently working on Little Rock Getaway. Then I will try Bourre in E minor. I may be asking for some advice from time to time.
