Dan Larson has posted recordings of the various pieces that Richard Walz played in June at the Boston Early Music festival; go to http://daniellarson.com/concerts/walz/walz_concert.htm

Wonderful! Thank you Bob, Daniel and esp Richard and Shuann. I wish I could have been there but this is second best.

Lovely to listen to these. One comment if Richard or Daniel are reading this: the WMA file for the second movement of the Hummel has corrupt headers and is truncated after about five minutes. I've been able to burn it onto CD (which I've played in the car on the way to work today) by first repairing the WMA headers, but of course the missing music is lost. Any chance of the complete file?

Very nice and musical playing to my taste. Thanks Bob, for bringing it under our attention here. And thanks to Richard and Shuann and of course Daniel Larson.

    Cheers,

    Alex

I should really be practicing instead of sitting in front of the computer.

The Fall 2007 issue of Early Music America has an article about the Boston Music Festival, including a brief, very positive review (and accompanying photo of the musicians) of Richard and his duo partner's performance (p. 52 or thereabouts, I think).
