I routed the binding channel on my first two mandolins using a dremel and stewmac's edge guide attachment and it worked ok. It seems that a lot of builders rout the binding channel using a table router set up. It also seems like the table method would be more accurate than holding the mandolin between your knees and attempting to tame 3 axis and 2 objects at once if you know what I mean. I thought I'd come up with my own contraption (below). Do you think it will work? For those of you with table routing experience, what should I keep in mind
Thanks,
Dan
