I have today bought a MD615 in the classic finish which I am really pleased with.

The serial number is UK025 - does this mean that mandolins for the UK market have different serial numbers than Eastman mandolins for other countries?

    Can anyone enlighten me?
    Regards

I've got the same model, serial No. UK003 so I presume Eastmans imported to the UK have UK serial numbers. Incidently I got it second hand from The Music Room in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire, I'm really getting to like it.

    Phil,
Yes, UK Eastmans have their own serial numbers.
