    Friends,

I thought I'd post a link to the JazzMando site to show off a recent review of my CD. Ted Eschliman (mandohack) posted a very complimentary write-up. I don't think the word gestalt has ever been used to describe me or my work before, but I like it.

    So, here's the link:

I apologize to all if it appears that I'm crowing. I am very proud, I just don't want to over do it.

    Thanks TED!

I saw that back when; if Ted liked it so much, it must be good!

Some others of us who'd seen it should have posted a note, so you wouldn't have to "crow"!
Congratulations. Nice sounding clip on the MP3 page here, also.

Thanks, Elrod. I'm glad it's getting seen.

I'm glad you did "crow". After reading the article I was compelled to visit your website. I listened to the samples you have posted and would say that based on that...the praise is spot on. Very tasteful and inspiring. You have every right to be very proud. Congrats!

I just bought Ken's CD recently. He certainly deserves the praise. The album is superb. Ken really has a great sense for composition; the tunes he wrote are just beautiful. One of my favorite songs (I'm not sure of the name) does some really interesting work with off-beat soloing. The Arches definitely sounds as good as it looks as well.
