Very nice! Looks a lot like my Absaroka, but with a bound headstock.

A lovely A-style mandolin. The back is gorgeous. Mr. Weber, he good.
I read in the "Fern" thread that Weber is aligning its products to avoid confusion, which is an excellent idea, because I was confused (and not even dazed).![]()

Rick, You are killing us, softly! STE is constantly astounding us with these new instruments and I now feel that my '99 Beartooth is a relic. When and where will it all end?
"Look upward; He is coming back!"
looks nice, it looks like it has the same as color and FB inlays as an Absaroka. are all of the A-styles going to a snakehead now?

Mandolins have changed over the last few years and Weber is right on target with their new mandolins. Man, that A type is pretty! Nick

funny.... Sort of funny....Sort of funny also
Does Weber only have one neck option? I find my a9 neck more comfortable than my Weber Y2K for some reason. Great looking mandos though!

We have countless neck options; We'll build anything custom to your spec.

Thanks and my vote is to keep us updated here - at least occassionally

Wow Rick, you guys at Sound to Earth have really outdone yourself by the looks of this guy. Seeing mandos like this one makes Weber near the top of my list of brands that i want to own a instrument from someday.

I played that mandolin (or one just exactly like it)at Old Boise Guitar this weekend. I will say Weber has really improved things in my opinion in the last year or so. I sure don't need another mandolin but that one got my attention.
Chip
I'll be down there today to test drive it and order some strings if its still there.
