When searching for mando TAB collections I found this wonderful (free) book. Aidan Crossey's Irish Mandolin - volume one

The only problem is that Aidan was not careful with his page breaks such that the whole measure sometimes does not fall on the same page.
I would advise that before you print the book it is better to open the Word (doc) file and put your own new page breaks.

I bought his Gibson A-jr (the one he played at the session where I met you and Dan) from him about a month ago. No idea why he sold it -- it's a great instrument -- but he was his usual friendly and cheerful self, as far as I could tell.

I've tried using his book in the past, but I really can't play from tablature on its own, which is why my favourite source of tunes remains Nigel Gatherer's site and in particular his vast collection of tunes in abc format.

That site has a lot of 'stuff' (a technical term, sorry)
