I was wondering if anyone thought this is strange but since I don't know how Gibson serials instruments, it may not be; A couple months ago I bought an A9 from another member and was so happy that I have kinda found that Gibsons work best for me. So with some horse trading, I traded a Collings, Weber and an Eastman plus a bag of shells, some cash and a cool ball of string to Dennis at the mandolin store for a Fern and an F5G. I just got the Fern and G today and am very happy both instruments they sound and play great plus dealing with Dennis was a real pleasure. So here's what I think is kinda weird. I looked in the Fern and the serial ends with 010 so then I look in the FG and it ends 010 and then I figired there's no need to look in the A9 because the chances were impossible but it of course ends in 010! The fern and FG actually have the same last four of 1010 but since all three have the same last three I figured I'd start my investigation there. If thers' a simple explanation let me know but...
