jams near manassas virginia

will be temporally relocating to Manassas Virginia for work. stating the end of May.
was wandering if anyone could recommend any jams to join in with.

Nate, depending on how far you want to drive there is a bluegrass jam the first weekend of every month in Fredericksburg (about 1 hr drive). It's held at a great music shop, Picker's Supply (WWW.pickerssupply.com). They are located right in old downtown Fredericksburg. They advertise that all skill levels are welcome but I haven't been yet even though I take lessons there. Not sure I want to torture anyone with my playing in public yet. Hope that helps.

they really need mandolin players. right now the b*njo to (mando+guitar+bass+violin) ratio needs fixing

had 7 b*njo's show up last week. and just 1 guitar and 1 mando to balance it out.
