For those following the Octophone thread---there is one for sale on ebay. The seller wants a whopping $71 for shipping, but who knows, maybe it will go for only about fifty bucks or so. It looks in good condition, except that there seems to be a repaired crack in the heel. I'd bid on it myself, except that I have one and I'm not skilled at repair in case something goes wrong with it. But it seems to be in working condition, and for someone that wants to try an octave mando with good sound at a cheap price---well, you might get lucky and get this at a good price.
