Default Thoughts on this Northfield F5S comparo?

The video is meant to show the consistency between instruments. Not that either of them sounded bad, but I had a clear preference. Kind of reinforcing my sense that I'd want to play them for myself, and ideally more than one in the same room before purchasing.

    Thoughts?

I totally agree. The first sounded considerably bigger and warmer, but I’d be happy with either.

Yea, I liked the first one better too. Great instruments.

I agree with both of you. The first one sounded a little ‘fuller,’ for lack of a better term. I wish he had said which one was the wide nut model. I don’t see how that would make the difference, but he is definitely a ‘tonemeister.’
