Looks like you're off to a great start! I like the idea of a rose design for the headstock inlay.

Very nice. Love the F holes too.

You're first pic has a bit of an illusion... it looks like the F holes go all the way through with that background. Cool effect!

The upper point on the body is a little different from the usual Gibson copy. It sort of has a rock guitar look to it. I like it.

Here is to the "You can't use 6/4 chords willy nilly".

Its just something that my theory proffessor at U of M said when we starting getting into 6/4 chords (chord spelled with the bass on the 5th of the chord). For example, G/D would be a 6/4 chord or G6/4. It is figured bass used primarily in the classical period (now were getting theoretical). 6/4 chords are usually only used in certain cadences and in specific situations, hense the quote, "You can't use 6/4 chords willy nilly".
    -Brian DiBlassio

(Now were going to get into a 6/4 chord discussion)

That's some damn fine work.I usually don't like violin inspired mandolin f holes but I like yours.Great job, if you keep going maybe you can avoid getting a real job like the rest of the builders here.
