    This old guy used to play one of those at the jams when I was first learning how to play Blue Grass....

    He never liked me at all, wanted so bad for me to just quit playing music!

    I think the only problem was me playing Earls Breakdown on the tenor banjo!

    it's a KM-21 style - As it's missing the "kalamazoo" script on the headstock and no label inside I am curious how you identified this as a Kalamazoo and not another type of mando. Just curious - no offence intended.

    Here's one of mine (1930s KM-21):

    you can barley see the kalamazoo on the headstock.I'll try to take a pic and show you non beleivers,its a kalamazoo!

    Mine has this crazy tigerstriped pickguard that Im planning on putting on a different mando as soon as I find a replacement for it. How deep is the body on your? Mine is deeper than a "standard" A model like my Gibson or my Givens, just wondered if yours is the same. I'll measure mine when I get home.
