I have an old Clifford Bowlback mandolin that is in great condition, just needs new strings. There is a Red Badge tag on the inside bowl that say "New Improved CLIFFORD, One Year Warranty". I am unable to find any info on this after searching thru Google, Yahoo etc. I found that "Clifford" was a brand made by the J.W.Jenkins Co. in Kansas City Mo., But the Shape, sound hole, style and the "Pickguard especially" looks identical to my old Lyon & Healy. Has anyone seen one of these before and have more info?? Many thanks for all replies. See pictures.

Peghead is American Conservatory (L&H) shape. I am not at home to check other reference.Likely L&H since Jenkins was a music store and had them made for them.

Here is a picture of the Red Badge inside, it reads "The Improved CLIFFORD". Does anyone have one of these or have they seen this one before? Thanks.
