Got #2 done and I am really proud of it. Especially the sound. My first try at a sunburst, and it turned out pretty close to what I wanted. going to try and post some pics.

Click on the "Add Reply" button right next to the "New Topic" button.. Don't use the quick reply window. There is a place there you can import your files.

My wife says I don't pay enough attention to what she says....
(Or something like that...)
Charles,
From elsewhere on the cafe:
"Click on Add Reply at top of page, next to New Topic. When that page opens, type in your post message and at the bottom of the page there is an option to attach a file. Click on browse and locate your jpeg image on your hard drive, highlight it and click on Open. Thats it."
If the image is too large (max of about 104k last I knew) then it won't work. To post a larger picture file you have to have the picture available on another website and link to it. That is when you can use the Image button in the Quick Post box. It will show up in your message just like one uploaded to the Mandolin Cafe so long as the link is good.

Cool headstock design, and I like the cross on the fingerboard extention. You have some neat ideas on this mando.
Looks pretty cool. How does it sound?

The sound is really good. Nice loud chop, and just a really good all around sound, is set up with a really low playing action. It has ebony bridge and a bone nut. There has been several local mandolin players, that play in bands play it, and everyone of them like it. I have also had one pro. (won't name him here) play it and his comment was, 'you got a good one here', so I am well pleased. Sorry I don't have any way of posting a sound clip.![]()
