Andy DePaulle does nice custom work. I've used him in the past and he's easy to get along with.

My wife says I don't pay enough attention to what she says....

I second Andy Depaule. Here's his site:

Also visit me on Facebook to see work in progress and other updates.
I tried, but never succeeded, to get Andy DePaule to cut my logos.
I've been told you have to keep bugging him, and if I have to keep bugging someone to do something, it'll never get done.
I've had some things cut by Swank, but I had to keep bugging him.
I've never had Tom Ellis cut anything for me, but I know he's a great guy, and does good work.
For fancy stuff, there's Craig Lavin.
There are others, too.
Mostly, I cut my own, because it's usually something custom and one off. (Or just dots, and I can buy those, of coarse.)

Andy DePaule will do good hand cut style stuff. His workshop is in Veitnam but usually the return time is not a big deal.
I recommend Bill James for cnc cut logos.
Tom Ellis, of course, is the top dog but generally doesn't take small orders.
You may also want to check out Todd Reith at

He is a member of our Colorado Luthiers guild and I've seen his setup and work.
