Minimum Tools for Setup

I would like to purchase the right tools for general field maintenance and setting up a mandolin.

I want to be able to install a new bridge, change nuts, adjust and dress fretts, and maybe install electronics.

I shared a studio with a luthier some time ago and have done work on my guitars, including refinishing, refretting and setup but I am just a player. I do think it is important to be able to understand where the tone comes from and how to optimize it.

Are there any recommended jigs or tools that will make the above tasks easier or even "fool proof"?

I'll start a list, and probably add to it later as I remember more things.

wire cutters
string winder
flat files of several sizes
safe-edge files, flat and triangular
fret crowning files (optional)
straight edges in several lengths
rulers/scales
nut files
scrapers
sandpaper
steel wool
nut drivers in every possible size of truss rod nut.
screw drivers, flat head and phillips, many sizes
calipers (optional)
masking tape
razor saws
micromesh kit (optional)
rags
titebond or similar
superglue
dental/inspection mirror

As for electronics, I don't do that, so someone else will have to add those suggestions.
