Monday night I was lucky enough to be in White Water Wisconsin to see Old School Freight Train and Dave (the DAWG) Grisman.
    It was GREAT!!
And he invited me to the party afterwards and signed my Washburn Jethro Burns.
    Who says mondays suck....NOT ME!!

David wrote me a check once & suggested I not cash it, since his valuable autograph was on there.
Now you got one too!!! It is cool getting your hero's autographs! And nice of him to invite you
to the party. (BTW I cashed the check)

So.... 5to12string..... how was the show? Just saw the DGQ with OSFT opening, coupla weeks ago,
those young fellas in OSFT really can pick, how about young Pete on man'alin and Nate on fiddle?!
Their solos caught my ear when I saw them. Seems like you had a pretty good Monday night!

I've only been playing mando for about 8 months (been a guitar player for over 30 years)and it warms my heart to see the youngsters taking it to the next level.
