This is a cool little tune, shades of Tiny Moore and Monroe (his Santa Claus comes to mind).
On the second break, after banjo solo, Joe notes out a very hip break, full of blues phrases and flat fives.

Wayne Henderson (guitar) tears this tune up also. I learned it (well sort of) from the Mandolin Fakebook. That said, it never shows up at the jams that I go to.

Curtis Buckhannon does a great mando version on the B. Bros. new CD "Back Home Again."
AlanN,
What book is it in?
It's a standard at many jams out here in West Texas. Of course Joe lives here too. I've not see Joe's tab but it's fun to mimic the fiddle version by sliding up to catch part of the B part on the upper register.
