    Does anyone know where to obtain schaller tuners for slotted pegheads? Stew mac ain gottem neither does International. any thing helps thanks in advance

    Allparts, probably. Many simple gears work well either way, depending on the width of the slot and the thickness of the outside cheek. Do you have gears now that you're trying to replace? What's wrong with the old ones? Schallers are a crapshoot.

    Touchstone Tonewoods in the UK has them:

    Schaller Mandolin Machine Heads
    5591 MNi2, nickel plated, side fitting.....£38.00
    5594 MG2, gold plated, side fitting......£47.00

    Also, Stentor Music.

    Hard to find in North America.
