    Hi all,

I'm new here and have been pecking around for a while, getting some feedback, asking a few questions, etc.

Anyway, I've decided to take the plunge and get my first mandolin! #I'm getting a Mid-Mo M-11. #Being that I'm more interested in the celtic/folk sound than the blue grass sound, I've heard that it's a good one.

I'm really excited that I will be getting it sometime next week! #Thanks to everyone for all the help and answering my questions. #I plan on staying around for a long time. #I'm sure I'll have much more to ask once I get my hands on the mando! #

So, what are planning to buy for your second mandolin? You can't have just one, it's not allowed.

    Diego,

I saw something on the forum about a Gibson DMM that was only $15-$20,000. Maybe I'll go for something cheap like that.

Of course, that would lead to my un-timely demise and my wife in prison for murder, but if you're gonna go out, go out in style!

You're on the right track. You'd look good with that mandolin.

That's what I've heard from a few people (you included). Thanks for all the help.
