    That is a tough one. I hesitate to say italian but the headstock resembles some Demeglios.

    From the style I don't take it to be Italian, Romanian maybe. Are there any labels in it?

    Apparently not.
    I have placed a modest bid that is currently the high bid, but I don't think I will up my bid if knocked out of the high bidder spot.
