Two years ago I was walking along Waikiki beach in the evening and noticed a group of senior bon vivants making music and dancing the hula in one of the picnic areas there. There were ukes, guitars, steel guitars, and an old guy in a wheel chair playing a mandolin. I think they said the met every Thursday evening. I wonder if they still meet.
