Your Christmas wish will be fullfilled shortly. Ken Cartwright aka mandomedic took my true systems precision 8 preamp and a couple of very nice audix omni mics down to loarfest and recorded to DAT, John Reischman and Mike Compton playing about 16 of those Loars. As soon as I get through editing it, a CD will be available on Mandolin Cafe in the hear future.

    Xbangerman,

I'll answer for Ken. I have the original DAT tape in my hands and am in the process of doing some basic editing of the Loar sound files this week and will then transform the files into a finalized CD format. After I am done, Ken will spend some time on artwork before releasing to the public. So...I would expect sometime in the next month or so it will become released and I am sure that Scott will post a message to that effect on the front page.

Sweet. You're going to have a stack orders for that.
