One of my blues brothers and I re-visited the clasic movie, Cool Hand Luke. #Good movie and good tunes. #Here is one song worked up from the movie and searching the net. #You may have to watch the movie to get the tune down, but it should be a pleasure. #Keep a cool hand. # Jack

Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down

    (CHORUS)

    [G] Ain’t no grave gonna [D] hold my body [G] down. #/ #/
    # # # # # # # #
    Ain’t no [C] grave gonna hold my body [G] down. # / # /
    # # # # # # # # #
When you [D] hear the trumpet sound, #

You gonna [C] get up out the ground.
    # # # # # # # # # # # #
    Ain’t #no [G] #grave gonna [D] hold my body [G]down. #/ #[D]

[G]Go down yonder Gabriel, put your foot on land and sea.
    # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # #
    Now[C]blow your trumpet boy, til'you hear from [G]me. # # # CHORUS #

[G]Looked out over Jordan, #Lord what did I see?
    # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # #
    A [C] band of angels comin’, #comin’ after [G] me. # # # # #CHORUS #

    #
[G] Meet me Jesus, meet me. Meet me up in the air.

[C] If these wings fail me, meet me with another [G] pair.

    FINAL CHORUS
    [G]Ain’t no grave gonna [D] hold my body [G] down. #/ #/

    Ain’t no [C] grave gonna #hold my body [G] down. #/ #/
    # # # # # # # # #
When you [D] look up above, you’ll see [C]nothin’ #but love!

Ain’t no [G] grave gonna [D] hold my body [G]down.

That tune is on Tim and Molly O'Briens "Away out on the Mountain". It's a good one.
I wandered again to my home in the mountains....
