Ok finally I have some pics. It's my first try and an IV kit with upgraded ebony bridge, bone nut, ebony strap pin and french polished. All the other stuff is original though I might change the tuners. Lots of mistakes on this one, number 2 can only be better! Thanks to all you helpers in here, you've rescued me many a time!

Mistakes... Well it seemed like every step i made could have been so much better. So much to learn! But considering I didn't even know you were supposed to sand along the grain at first, I think i have come a long way with this. I had a really good time building it, though the finishing almost drove me crazy!

Looking very nice. I think thats is the first burst I have seen on a kit. Most people tend to do a solid color.

    How does it sound?

Thanks for all the kind words!

The sound is what I am most pleased with. It's real loud and after a month of hard playing the tone is starting to become a little rounder and sweeter. I don't own and have never really played a high-end mando so this will be the one I'm gonna play all the time. So I'm really glad it sounds good to my ears. My goal was that it would sound better than my old swedish made flattop Levin (hich has an ok sound I guess) and it sure beats the heck out of it both in volume and tone! Yay!

About the label... I didn't know it was supposed to be the other way? Is it really?

Jonas...The finishing almost drove you crazy. Yes I understand. That kind of finsih drives me crazy also, and makes my hand reach for my pocketbook.

By far the best looking IV kit to date, especially the finish. Congrats.
