I have a Minstrel octave mandolin (www.mandolas.net) and I think it would be extremely hard to beat for the price. Hand made, nice woods, sounds excellent and great sustain.

Now I just found this in the Cafe Builder Database!
    Name: Lee, Daunt
    Company: Minstrel
    Address: 70 Campbell Ave

    St. John's, Nfld
    Country: Canada A1E 2Z6
    Link: Web site
    Phone/fax: (709) 576-4486
Comments: Acoustic flattop mandolins, mandolas and bouzoukis
    Update: November, 2005
    ID: 857

But, Brent Denny is not Lee, he is tending Lee's shop. Anyone know Brent's work?
