Hey, he already showed he is a great guitar player in Desperado, or was that Esteban standing in as a guitarist double? So the mando would be a logical move. Or perhaps is thinking of a weapon that will fit nicely in a mando case. Or perhaps it is for Melanie for Christmas!

Ask him if he'd like to buy a bridge ... I know of a nice one in Brooklyn.

    Hey there Howard,

I'm very good friends with Antonio Banderas and he told me that he was very much interested in purchasing your mandolin.

In fact he told me that he was going to send you a check for more than the purchase price just on good faith. When the check clears you send him his mandolin along with the amount that he overpaid you

    Sir don't worry....

    ...he's legite

It might possibly be legit. I sold a National Reso guitar to Keith Richards in 1969 (before they were re-issued). I got a call from one of the band's roadies. I thought it was a gag, but it wasn't. The guy drove to my house, picked me up, and took me the studio where they mixing the Let It Bleed LP. I met Mick and Keith and watched the mixdown session. They also gave me free tickets to their upcoming concert. No kidding.

I REALLY enjoyed seeing Keith play my former guitar on stage.

    It's not legit.

He hit ten people in about three minutes and in the process tripped a filter that notified me. I promptly contacted everyone that he replied to, blocked that address and submitted a fraud report to Yahoo. Interestingly, this one came from in the U.S. Pretty weak attempt. Assume he'll be back. Maybe he's shopping for his wife!

    Hey Scott,

How do you know that he wasn't purchasing 10 different mandolins that he saw here in the classifieds? #

After all he is Antonio Banderas and could probably afford to feed his MAS more than most of us could ever afford to.

I bet you that if he was after that Rigel Q-95, there would be know questions asked ;-)

Heck we already have one movie star that lurks around here...

    ...why not have two

I guess I need to put on my moderator hat and remind everybody that it's against official Discussion Board policy (Article XI, Subsection C, Paragraph 2) to engage in the selling of wives in this forum.
(By the way--does anyone know if a Blue Book price resource is available on these?...)

JML, I'll take your wife. In the divorce setlement I'll need to know how many mandos you have (you have some nice new ones as we all now) so I can have her choose the half "she" wants. Thanks, Dude!

I was thinking, maybe he wants the mandos to use as "oroments" for his "Christmas train".
