My mystery Framus

Can anyone tell me about my instrument?
I have had it about 14 years and adore it.
It played a 2 hour heavy set the other day with no deviation in tuning, I wish I could say the same for my voice!

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I should add, I know it is a Famus by the label inside saying:-

Short for Franconia Musik GMBH. Made some great guitars and the ugliest banjos in existance (good players though). The banjos had a laminated neck and pebble finish natural aluminum pot brackets. UGLEEEEEEEE...

Thanks for that, I have come across a couple of their banjos in the past. Any idea how old my vandolin may be? I understand the original company went bust in 1970, but I know they are still a brand.

I once saw a pic of a kay mando that looked very similar.
