    Hi everybody!;

    I've been working with my legacy o the last months and I recorded 13 songs. You can download two of them here (192 bitrate); #

    http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=H3ORD61N -> in this one legacy o is all over the song

    http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=VGG77LC7 -> in this one mandolins start in the middle of the song.

    Both of them are tremolo work in "spaniard style" and lyrics are in spanish (sorry for that, I live in Spain).

    To achive fullness I doubled all tremolos and I backed them with violins. Hope you enjoy! #

    I will upload more songs with legacy o in my web page in the near future, I'm mixing right now;

    Edit; you have to wait some seconds until the link appears, sorry for that again.

    I listened to the first one and enjoyed it, thanks! You achieved fullness!

    Octavio Paz is great, isn't he?

    Hey glauber!

    Glad you enyoyed the song. Legacy O does its job, don't you think so?. Octavio Paz is my favourite poet ever. I'm reading "la centena" and I just can't finish the book because I'm afraid of finishing the book.

    Glad you liked it again!

    hi 357mag;

    Click the links;

    http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=H3ORD61N

    http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=VGG77LC7

    On top right you'll see "por favor espere 45 segundos"-> it is just a count down before you can download. When the count down is over you'll see; "Haga clic aquí para iniciar la descarga". You click on that box and your download starts.

    Really sorry about this inconvenience because I thought you'll see the interface in english.

    Hey 357mag!

    Glad you got it. I don't know if you'll like legacy o sound. I find it a little bit different from f5's. Anyway, I was trying to get some sound.

    Thank you very much!

    It sounded just fine. I recently bought an Eastman 514, which is an F oval, and it is different. I like that Legacy O and in fact was looking to buy one used, but couldnt find one. Seems like folks are hanging on to that model. So I saved a few more buck and bought the Eastman which I am very happy with.

    Hey again 357mag;

    Legacy o was the only affordable f4 I could find here in Europe (this one came from Germany to Spain, lack of stock). There are some producers in eastern europe but prices climb too much. I feel comfortable with this one. I'd really like to try a gibson f4 or a Loar f4 but so far with this one my smile goes form ear to ear. What the hell...

    Congrats, Jose!

    I like the songs very much, although I don`t understand the lyrics. Your playing is also very good and suitable for those kind of songs.

    I still cannot overcome the problem with touching the fingerboard of my MK with the pick, which produces an unpleasant sound. I guess this is a problem with the player and not with the instrument.

    Thanks for sharing this! Could I keep the songs?

    Good luck!
    Plamen

    I never had this problem, maybe you could try smaller picks.

    Nice music! A very pleaseant break from all the bluegrass I've been listening to lately. If you're recording these yourself you did a fine job. Nice, full-sounding mixes. Great vocals and some really pretty mandolin work. I enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing.

    Hey MC Gitarz!

    Thanks for your post, glad you enjoyed! This music style is a little bit related to sound of "tunas" which in spain are bands or ensembles of bandurrias, laudes and guitars. Each university usually keeps one of this bands alive. They play old songs, sometimes even from the middle ages, and the leads are always tremolo work. These two songs are more pop related and I only used two mandolins for tremolos, but this is a little explanation of the style.

    I recorded at my own little studio
