sharktooth pick

Now I doubt I'll order this, but has anyone had any experience with the sharktooth pick (one with the velcro contraption) that helps support the pick. For some reason I see it as walking with a cane, but hey if it helps, I'd be willing to try it. Thanks in advance

I was given one, I think the velcro thing is completely ridiculous but I removed the pick and like the tone of it.
