Seriously, the site is gone. Not down, gone.

    <Broken link removed by Moderator>

Anyone know what happened to Paul LeStock and/or Arrow Guitars and mandolins?

    Curious,
    Daniel

I can assure everybody that Paul's still alive and building mandolins. I just got an e-mail from him this morning, he's finishing up some new designs, including a flattop octave and cello, as well as a Django-style tenor guitar. He's also starting a new mandolin batch in November apparently.
I didn't know his site was down, I'll ask him about it. If anybody wants/needs to get in touch with him, PM me and I'll get you his e-mail.
Still loving my Arrow G-style mandolin. (and wishing for an archtop-guitar octave)

    Update:

I talked to Paul and he said he didn't know about it. Apparently his webmaster says the server crashed. He says everything should be back online soon.

his sight isn't gone, just the second page that is referenced is gone. The index page and IP address are still active. Must have lost some of the pages within his site.

Thanks everyone for the kick in the butt, otherwise I wouldn't have known that the site vanished.
I spend all my time in the shop, and the e-mail address never stopped working,so I didn't have a clue.
Apparently the server crashed and they didn't have backup for some of their clients, me included.
My webmistress is currently working on republishing the pages, possibly updating it as well.
    All the best!~

    Well, there you go guys...
Between making some of the coolest jazz instruments in the world AND a "mistress," no wonder Paul's having a hard time keeping in contact with us!

Be that as it may, he's very actively building these days!

I know Paul doesn't fancy himself a salesman. Most of his instruments sell either word of mouth or at the many festivals Paul attends...I got my tenor guitar after playing one for a week at one of the Mandolin Symposiums.

Paul's still doing well, from what I hear. I gave him my Wintergrass ticket since I couldn't make it - glad to see he brought some new babies up for everybody to try out.

Still love my blacktop Arrow Octave. Paul is a treat to work with and will totally go above and beyond to stand by his instruments in my experience.

Yeah, seeing this thread resurrected is sort of like meeting yourself in the past. Weird and disorienting.

I can attest from personal knowledge that Paul Lestock is still building great instruments. He lives in Oregon, outside of Portland, and I have recently heard one of his excellent mandolins being stroked by Tim Connell in the Eric Skye Trio.

So no web page. But very much still building.

Couple of years back he answered a question on Facebook, however I tried a few months back to ask him about my Arrow G and didn’t get a response at all, so I am not sure he even using Facebook anymore.
