Great, inspiring pictures. Do you have anything from Indian Springs?
Yes, those would be in pictures that I took. I have not scanned them yet. We played there in 79 I believeOriginally Posted by (Bob Simmers @ Oct. 16 2006, 12:31)

Both Jody and Daryl Anger played on Roger's Cds. I just did the festival tours. I beleive he was the first to record Doc Watson. We used to visit with Doc in Deep Gap every summer.Originally Posted by (Paul Kotapish @ Oct. 13 2006, 13:15)
We also stayed wirh Obrey Ramsey, got thrown out of the Van Hoy residence for playing Devil's Dream, visted the Wests and their mandolin collection, sold lots of albums and even won Galax one year. I started when I was 14 and it was a trip!
I still use the guitar strap Roger made for me. His hobby was tooling leather and he made some beautiful straps.
Those were the days!
Cya!

Now I believe it is Reidsville where Carlton Haney moved Berryville to. It was just too cold at that time of the year in Berryville.
