Hi there, I've been playing Dawgs and would like to try a Wegen or Tortis - just don't know which thickness will be the most similar to a Dawg since that's what I'm used to. Thanks! Michael

A Tortis heavy should be the equivalent of the Dawg.

You can also order directly from Michel Wegen
    (Wegenpicks
    P.O.Box 119
    7240 AC Lochem
    The Netherlands)
and you can order custom thickness...
(I did it two years ago, ordered some picks between M 100 and M 150 models. Same price and friendly communication.

I have a Tortis heavy w/o the speed bevel. It is similar to the Dawg's but a bit brighter.

i found that changing over from a dawg to a dunlop 1.5 was very easy, but i wouldn't go any thinner. right now i'm playing on a solid ebony pick with about the same dimensions as a dawg.
