I picked up the Harmony again and decided that the action is too low.

Can I replace the nut even though I don't have a truss rod?

What bridge would you recommend for Harmony Kentucky A style?

Please keep in mind I do not have a radius fret board.

    Thanks-a-bunch,

Keith, if the strings are too low at the nut you can gently tap it loose and place a thin shim under it to raise it up a bit. If the strings are too low up the neck the bridge needs to be raised. Is your mandolin a carved top or a flat top? If your bridge is still usable you can glue a shim to the bottom of it. That is the quick and easy way to get it playable again.
