    Hey yall I've got the parts of an old gibson AO. It has no finish on it. I's like to finish it in the brown color what do I use to get that brown color???

    You need to get some stains, mix them, and experiment on scrap wood 'til you have a color that matches. You'll also need to use sun light, not artificial light to know when your color matches.
    There is an earlier thread about trying to match a Loar sunburst that has a lot of good tips in it. I have a post in it about stains and color mixing. I tried to post a link to it,but I'm not using my own computer right now and I can't get it to work.(yes, this one is Windows).
