    My friend was offered it in exchange for his 2 Martins, a CEO5, and a J-40.

    Should he go for it?

    what have you found with your search so far? sponsor for sale links on front home page will give you an idea.
    Gruhns will give a broad generalization, or accurate one if you send pictures and money, ( for a document, it will suffice for insurance purposes then)

    Thanks guys. I told my friend (who is a guitar player and is just getting started on mandolin- he bought an Eastman) about the Cafe and he'll probably be joining in the next day or two.
