    That'd be about the price you'd have to pay here in the UK - but look at the photo's - this is obviously the "distressed" version!!

    Someone might be able to get that price for a spotless example from the 50's, but that's waaaaay un-reasonable.

    Looking for a fool I suppose. AND they want to charge for SHIPPING....$2500 should be able to pay for the shipping, ya know?

    It's not a 59, IMO

    The sunburst is wrong, ie, a three color rather than two.

    The Fender decal does not look original.

    The fretboard does not appear to be the thick slab they used until 63

    It is hard to be precise, but it looks like a mid 60's or later model.
