    I saw that and it's giving me ideas.... Expensive, harebrained ideas....

    Yep, I'd say that McClanahan is a work of art! Beautiful work and nice herringbone all around.

    Hi Mark - That mandolin,one of Jonathan's 'Trinity' models,is possibly the most elegant F5 style i've ever seen. The relative proportions of headstock size,neck width,body size, seem totally 'perfect'. I don't 'lust' after many mandolins,but that one - oh boy !,
