Default string gauge suggestions for 9 string mando/guitar

new to site here. I just purchased a dean mondo mando 9 string and was wondering about strings/gauge suggestions for this instrument. it's a 20.5" scale neck, and 3 single course strings on the bottom, and 3 double course on the trebles. I just want to make sure I don't overload gauges as i'm unsure of the bracing, etc. on the top. i'm used to short scale necks as my primary guitar has been a 12 fret for years. I know these longer scale models can get pretty flabby on the bottom end especially if you aren't particular about what string gauge you string up. and, I figure a capo will be in order as well to shorten out the overall string length. I have seen this particular mando discussed a little here, so would appreciate any insight anyone might offer on this. thanks.

    20" 5ths intervals will be a challenge ..

Ill guess .. Octave down DAE for 3.2.1. pairs... G would be single ,

to be less floppy re entrant, an octave up.. ..
Like Soprano ukes have thin 1st and 4th strings

so thinner, F same as E, and C same as D?

You tried the new standard tuning for Guitars..

Here is what I use on my 21" 8 string OM (octave pairs on G, D and A):

    G1 .048 G2 .024
    D1 .040 D2 .020
    A1 .024 A2 .012
    E .013 or .014
