I am no mando picker at all, but I noodle. Today I decided to noodle my version of Tennessee waltz on my #11 build.

I'd call you a picker. Sounded very pretty and well done.
The tone from #11 sounded really good to me.

Well gee thanks all... Sad that I don't know a single tune, but heard Thile playing this on a Loar and thought that is too nice.

I play this tune a lot. Every time I play it there are a bunch of choices, tempo, groove, rubato, where and which chords and/or double stop harmonies, ornamentation, outright excursion from the melody. Choices, choices, choices.

I really like what you did here, what choices you made. Very nice.

Of course, after hearing a tune 87698345844 times in a life time, you no longer listen for how the tune goes. You listen for how this artist does it. What choices has this artist made.

You kept it interesting. Great job.

    What a beautiful sounding mandolin.

Thanks! Ya at least this one is in time somewhat. Sorry Clinton, that is my "monster" mando experimental axe. But has similar tone to #11.

Ah gotcha. Nevertheless I would've liked to hear either mp3 and it just doesn't play on my iPhone for some reason. Maybe I need to download something on this thing I don't know. I should have a home computer like most modern folk lol

Enjoyed your playing very much! Some nice ornaments in there, well done.

Embedding your mp3's in a player within this post, for folk who can't download them. I feel their pain, mp3 attachments seem to behave in a tricky way here.

Nice thoughtful playing. Last week my step daughter was in town reading "The Great Gatsby" and kept thinking of you.

It just requires two things, Tony, first the file has to have a web address, and second you just use simple BBCode to embed it. If you don't know what BBCode is, it's "Bulletin Board Code" - because back in the early days of internet, people started bulletin board websites, which evolved into forums like this one, and codes were developed to use to make things happen.

    The BBCode for embedding mp3 is: [ m p 3 ] URL to mp3 file goes here [ / m p 3 ]

The BBCode is indicated by brackets, and I added spaces here so you could see it. When you use it, there can't be spaces between the brackets.

To get a web address for the mp3 files, I just uploaded them to my website, and I put the web address for each file between the BBCode mp3 tags. You could upload the mp3's anywhere on the web that you have access to the address. I suppose dropbox would work, or whatever. I have webspace of my own, so I just stuck them there so that I could get the job done.

EDIT: Here is some general info about BBCode https://www.phpbb.com/community/help/bbcode

Not all BBCode can be used here, only ones that Scott and the admins allow. The mp3 code is currently allowed.
