Default Scarborough Fair for plucked string ensemble

Finished off this arrangement in the last week for my mandolin ensemble, Mando Chutney, but here recorded as a demo for them by overdubbing the parts.

    Hope you enjoy it

Lovely arrangement, Robbie, and very well played indeed.

Of course! Bear in mind the guitar part is tuned CGCGCD, so a bit like a mandocello. But yes, everything is written out in Sibelius. Just pm me and I'll email it.

Fabulous arrangement. I don't know if you're an avid film-goer, but your arrangement is very evocative of Cecile Corbel's score for a Studio Ghibli picture called Arrietty.

On a side note, is that a Tippin guitar you're using? I just love that solid wood rosette.

Thank you, no not aware of the film, I'll check it out. I must admit, my influences for this arrangement are obviously Simon and Garfunkel, but also the minimalist composer Steve Reich.

The guitar is hand made in Devon, England, by a small bunch of guys called Brook. They are awesome. Sholreline music stock the, in the USA.

Will email, out scores for those that have requested one tomorrow

Thanks again for all the nice comments,

    Robbie

We are based in Bath. Bradford-On-Avon to be exact. This summer we are performing live at the “Priming the Pump” festival in Westbury. Otherwise we are always looking for gigs and new places to perform!

    Cheers,

    Robbie
