There's nothing to be ashamed of. Bob Dole recommends a little blue pill for times he has trouble posting...

I don't know whats going on with this. Course I'm not any computer whiz by any streach of the imagination. But I tried 3 diffrerant times last night posting, and get on this morning and all of a sudden I can. Oh well who knows. If this thing was a tractor, or a set of plows, or a hay baler, I might could figure it out.

Sorry for playing along LT, but there was some irony in your initial post that I suspect most of us found humorous, as you were asking within a post why you couldn't post.

What symptoms did you experience when you couldn't post during those times? (e.g., Could you get to the board's URL, but couldn't post? Did you receive any specific error messages when trying to post?) With a little more detail, we collectively may better be able to help answer your question.

legendarytones - is it possible that you are not logged in, in which case you can read but not post. My computer logs me in automatically and I forget that it even needs done until I try to get on on my DH's computer and the forum does not recognize me. You cannot search by "new posts" if you are not logged in.

Mine has started to enter a lot of online contests and I think it's sneaking out at night to play punk-rock music.
